My motel last night was adequate, but pretty old.

It was nice to wake up to some pretty blue sky's.

Like Karl and Ed, I like to see my bike when I'm eating.

Like a good boy I finished my plate.

Packed for two weeks with out needing to do laundry.
In Groom, TX stands this cross. It is the largest one in the western hemisphere. I've past it many times, but Sherm told me that you could walk the grounds so I stopped by today.

A few of the old buildings on old route 66 in Shamrock, TX

There were several displays on the grounds where the cross stands. This is an exact replica of Christ tomb.

Some nice fountains at the visitor center

I filled her with ethyl.

Unbeliveable, I've never paid over $ 36.9 for high test, what are thing coming to?

Keeping the memories alive.

Back in the day small towns would pump their water up to the tank thru a small volumn pump then let gravity supply the pressure to feed the town.

When I was a lad, Rexall was the Walgreens of the day. Of course the only thing I needed to buy from them were root beer barrels.
