The moon is just about through it's cycle and my cycle trip is just about through too.

I followed my shadow all the way to Flagstaff today. Said goodbye to Sherm after breakfast and once again when I past him near Flag.
I came home to a very different AZ

Everything had a green tint

The sky was beautiful with the white clouds.

It seems the fresh grass enhances the color of the mountains

Pretty when zoomed in on

Even the Saguaro forest look lush

Almost as green as AR

Filled up just before going home. 6.37 gal in a 6.7 gal tank. I rode 4390 miles on this trip, but only 2500 getting there and back. The bike averaged 48.7 MPG. Well, maybe more like 36 but that won't impress anyone. :)

I kept seeing these signs for the blue hole in Santa Rosa, NM

My curious nature got the best of me and I went to check it out

It is an old sink hole fed by an underground river.

They put a grate over the river inlet and outlet because divers would go in and not come out.

You can rent scuba gear and go diving if you like. I think those floats are tethered to the bottom 81' down so the divers can pull themselves down.

Regardless, it was a neat place to see.

Not sure what makes it look so blue.

Sherm and I had a good meal here in old Albuquerque, NM

Just east of Gallup the skies turned dark and sure enough they got me.

We filled up on Standing on the corner pics.

Just across the street

I had to reach as high as I could to take this one.

There's a girl my Lord in a flat bed Ford.......

Mark and I had gone on a little spirited ride earlier and then stopped by the Burger Barn.

Nice setting, slow service, pretty good burger.

Mark needed some food to help absorb the Anacin, Tramadol, Percocet, and Iburprophen. :)

Look who we ran into. He had already scared everyone else off, but he saw Mark and I before we could get away. :)

Both of the Scott's have the BBQ in full swing.

I think over half had left before I got this shot of the group

Scott, Margot, and Taz

Motel lot full of bikes

Sherm modeling his maternity wardrobe. He is only a little bit pregnant. :)

The meat and beans are all ready. Pork ribs, pulled pork, brisket. All of it as good as it gets. Add the homemade BBQ sauce along with some of the commercial stuff and it even got better.

A lot of visiting before the meal

There wasn't much left after the feast so they put it all in one pot and made chili out of it the next day.

Miss HorseHead

AKA Claudia. Giving it her best pose.

I was missing these two states on my states ridden map

Took this picture, then rode about a 1/4 mile further.

Then turned around and took this.

I've eaten in several Hard Rock Cafe's

This is the first Hard Rock Hotel I have ever seen.

I kind of liked this cloud so I shot a picture of it while rolling down the highway.

Sherm and I had a nice pizza here this evening.

My friend Jim (Skid) taught me how to plot a route on google maps and then post it to my blog. This is where I went today.

Once in awhile the old Garmin will send me down a dirt road.

This one took me past a field of contented cattle

I wanted to find out where the road past the War Eagle Mill went. It circles around and then up the hill behind the mill.

What a view

That is the river that drives the water wheel for the mill.

I then headed to Rogers, AR and had BBQ

After that I visited the Daisy Air Rifle Museum

Interesting story how the company started.

The windmill business had run it's coarse and they switched to air guns.

Boy, that's a Daisy! .....and that is how it got it's name.

Many models on display

Some were very large caliber like this 46 cal. one.

This was the 50,000,000th one.

They even have a model for Susan

They even have a model for Susan

I like the old Coke ad on the building across the street.

Outside of the Daisy Museum

The main street of the Historic District

This is a big lake. :) .....but only a small part of it.

I re-visited Thorncrown Chapel again to get a few more pictures.

Very simple and very peaceful

These lights were on every vertical support beam.

This is the smallest Victorian home ever. About 12' x 20'

I found a few more of the springs this afternoon

A very nice reflection pond

Another one of the developed springs. Not flowing much water now.

View of the Crescent Hotel from across the valley

One of the residential streets, although it just looks like a country road.

View of the overlook

Susan must be visiting a friend up here.

Hot Sauce letting folks cook their own this evening.

He's got a pretty nice set-up. Can't wait for the big feed tomorrow evening!
