Admiral Nimitz was raised here in Fredericksburg and this awesome museum is here in his honor.

Out of order, but a few more bluebonnets today

They only finished this bronze of him in 2011

Some of the memorabilia of the time and you can see the ghost of Sherm who happened to be in the Coast Guard during that same time.

Nice Petunias

Several German restaurants in Fredericksburg

Beer Gardens are big here too

Very nice setting to have a beer on a hot day

Lots of candy stores and bakeries too!

We rode to Llano to have BBQ at Coopers. We were pretty early and they are lining up already.

These pictures have loaded out of order so I will just caption them as though they are stand alone.
Sherm asked me if there was nothing over 25 cents in here. I told him no.

I climbed up on this sign so I could take a picture without having to pay the $7.00

These folks have made quite a climb to get where they are.

Time to dig in at Coopers

I chose a pound and a half of sirloin.....very good but I could only finish a pound and a quarter.

Joe taking pictures of Susan in the Blue Bonnets. He was wearing his helmet because she throws rocks at him if he doesn't get a good shot. :)
Picture of Enchanted Rock from on top of their entrance sign
These were our meat choices at Coopers.....yum yum!

A rare picture of John (Coyote) and Sherm

These are some of the better blue bonnets we have seen

Sherm likes roadrunners

Creative photography......called sticking the camera in the weeds.:)
