We left Fort Stockton this morning and got caught short on gas. We took a side road detour so we wouldn't have to push em. That took us onto a road that had these cuts in them. That's Sherm behind me.

Our first waypoint was Coopers BBQ. I wasn't too impressed. Not bad but not great either. Sherm liked his though.

It is still a must stop and try when visiting TX

They get the mesquite burning here, and then shovel the hot coals under the pits as they need it. I just thought it was there to keep the employees warm :)
